Resume Tip #2: Your resume should be free of meaningless information
Since companies are required to be an equal opportunity employer, recruiters will never ask you for your age, race, religion or sex.
Resume Tip #2: Your resume should be free of meaningless information.
What you need to do:
- Remove your age, race, sex, date and place of birth from your resume;
- Remove your physical address (it’s highly unlikely for a recruiter to reach out to you through the postal service);
- Provide only one phone number and one email address (no need for three phone numbers and five email addresses).
This kind of information is irrelevant to the recruiter. Try to use the extra space to provide key details of your strong areas. Good luck!
